What kind of exercise does swimming do for you? I'm considering swimming every other night for outdoor exercise. But at the moment, I want to lose weight, not gain muscle. Is swimming the best exercise for me? And what does it help with? Thanks.

Can somebody who never exercises lose weight easily if they start exercising? I NEVER exercise unless walking around the house cleaning or walking around school counts. I eat lots of junk but i haven't gained any weight in the past 4 years. Does this mean that if i started exercising I would be burning off that extra weight immediately?

True. One rarely encounters an overweight fish. Personally, the only exercise I get these days is deleting spam posts.
